K-On!
Couldn't bring myself to watch the special so I just watched the 12 season episodes.

Moral of the Story: Being a lazy talentless cunt will get you everything you ever wanted.

1/5. I atleast liked Mio and Azusa, and the music wasn't awful. Just everything else.

Kyorakyu, ever considered being a reviewer? Makes me laugh at least :P

I finished Noir this morning.

Ugly animation with characters that never change clothes and a decidedly dodgy storyline put this on a par with Madlax. Despite this, the soundtrack was amazing and helped pull the show from a below par 2, to a 3/5. Although I say the story was bad, the characters I thought I didn't care about, aparently had some charm to them and I actually felt quite moved in the last episode. Still confusing and bizarre, but a little more coherent than Madlax :)

You aren't finished until you've seen the AMV.

^^ one of the reasons why I'm having a hard time picking up El Cazador de la Bruja the last in the unofficial series XD

that and well i found both noir and madlax to be mediocre at best. but noir definitely is one of those "must watch" even if you don't like the genre type shows.

Thanks for that Alexander, it really makes the point of the enemies walking into bullets :P As well as the feckless enemies, there was no blood. Well, there was. But it was kind of a luminous blue in a flashback. A bit more gore and violence, on par with Claymore, and the show could have been brilliant.

Dropped after ep1. My problem was that around that time seemingly every series employed exotic locations, and the Japanese just aren't good at anything except Japan.

Finished Kino's Journey. Great series, very thought-provoking.

I shed a tear for Sakura at the end. That was damn sad.

Didnt you just love
the ending? "let's drink tea" "yes, you do it" "sure" (something very similar to this was said). And then they wander to the woods looking for...a cab? or maybe they'll just do like Chloe that goes to freaking Thailand swimming and walking (gets there in 2 days) with only bread and wine on her stomach xD

Excel Saga
This show was freaking amazing! I just loved all the randomness, silliness, and parodies. I especially liked the "Going to Far" episode XD
5/5 and my new #3 :D
