finished Toradora!
I absolutely loved this series, and it's catapulted to my favourite romance anime... Well maybe a bit more tentatively now, as i thought the ending was slightly rushed and not as well thought out as i was hoping. But the characters i thought were amzaingly deep, and multi-faceted, as well as their interactions with each other. The animation was gorgeous, the pacing was really well done and the way the themes were presented was just done in such a convincing manner. Its not exactly 'original' in plot or ideas, but the way it was executed was superb. I give major props to JC Staff for doing a series i thought managed to become quite deep and serious and sad whilst maintaining a light and fun mood. |

Skip Beat and Ride Back
Ride Back... disappointing to the point that it only deserves 2 stars. And I'm being quite lenient about that. Skip Beat... FPA:JLFDL:SkJSD:SLKfJ Why'd it have to end?! It could of gone on for so much longer!

Black Butler / kuro shitsuji - 3.5/5 stars
I loved the look and feel of this anime throughout. Old English look, pretty characters everywhere, dark but happy look. Some of the stories were really fun and entertaining too. However, the overall trend in this anime was "hey guys. Here's some plot holes, go have fun." I mean, I have no clue what in the world was going on 70% of the time. Sometimes it was episodic, other times there were character driven stories, and other times hardcore story was shown. Half the time I had no idea which episodes were which. So, While it was a fun watch, and the ending was actually somewhat satisfying, I don't think it's a great anime in any sense of the word, but I enjoyed it. |

Just finished Now and Then, Here and There
I thoroughly enjoyed this series! I especially like how it didn't pull any punches, some of the things that happened were downright harsh. Great characters and an enjoyable storyling made it an all-round success in my book. Other than my personal feelings on the ending though, a thoroughly enjoyable series that I'd give a solid 9/10 |
