Considering the fact that she had such poor judgment as to fall in love with a pathetic creature like Takayuki in the first place, it isn't that surprising she makes some other terrible decisions.

I finished Nodame Cantabile. I came into the show with the impression I'd be watching a romance, but the attachment between Shinichi and Nodame was a lot more subtle than I expected, with few overt displays of affection by Shinichi to mark the strengthening of their bond. But it was done well, so I had the pleasure of seeing another good anime. Unlike Glass Mask (2005), and Kaleido Star, Cantabile doesn't have a plot that consists in the protagonist overcoming seemingly impossible difficulties. Instead, they present Shinichi as someone of formidable abilities, and he just deals with things as they come, allowing the major focus to be on the relationships between the characters. I didn't feel as warm and fuzzy after the last episode of Nodame Cantabile as, say, Aishiteruze Baby, but it did leave me smiling.

Never saw Nodame Cantabile although now it peaked my interest, but it would be hard to top Aishtieruze Baby in the warm and fuzzy department.

Wow, I finally get to post a real show here (sorry Candy Boy)!! Good god it's been a while since I've finished a series. So here I go!!

I finished Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. And I guess considering the paucity of my anime viewing time, this show just fits. No real story, doesn't require much attention to watch, and every episode stands by itself. It's a quick watch when you've got a little time. I wouldn't call it good, but it satisfies and ends before it got too stale (then again, which season two coming . . .) I like the manga more though.

Finished watching;
Blood+ - I didnt expect this series to be good but turns out it was really good.Espacially the episodes about Sif was awesome.

Lucky Star - It was a nice watch.Nothing special but its relaxing and fun from time to time.

Nodame Cantabile - Enjoyed this series a lot.The ending was a bit absurd but i can recommend this to anyone probably.

I just finished School Days in one sitting (not that it was good, I wanted to get over with it asap...).

Here's what I posted on the SD thread:
Quote:
Wow... this is quite possibly the worst anime I've ever seen...

I was totally bored after the first 5 episodes, and then I believe the writers went crazy... I laughed SOOOOO hard during the second half of the show, geez I thought I was watching some real bad B movie. They wanted so show how misogyny would lead to the destruction of oneself, but seriously how they did it was totally ridiculous... They missed the point by a thousand miles.

Makoto was a pathetic attempt at creating a self proclaimed don juan and selfish bad dude. Everyone's saying they hate the guy, I did too at first, but damn it's impossible to take Makoto's character seriously once you get passed the 7th episode or so.
I had heard about the "bad ending", and to be honest I thought it was the only decent point about School Days. But then again, they probably missed the point because I couldn't stop laughing when I saw Katsura's handbag. OMG that only was worth the 6 hours agonizing pain of watching this crap. Actually, yeah, I kinda liked Katsura throughout the show, I was just a bit disappointed that she did not cut Makoto's balls off in the end... or maybe she did?

I'm repeating myself, I know, but Romance/tragic anime are my favourite ones... just look at my top5.
I really was looking forward to watch School Days because I was interested when I read the synopsis. I told myself that it couldn't be THAT bad... How wrong I was, it was terrible and very painful to watch =(

At least, it's a good laugh !

Just finished watching Code-E and wow was my initial understanding of this series totally off, anyhow i feel glad that even being partially slice of life type of serie i was fairly entertained.

While the ending may have seemed unexpectedly short with so many things left unclear, i have recently found out a second season its on the way that should certainly be something ill be looking forward to watching.

Now time to see what other anime can keep me busy for sometime.

I recently finished Tenjho Tenge it was kind of meh. The flashback kind of killed it and I didn't care much for Nagi and found Aya just so damn annoying. Also the ending sucked.
