I finished Nodame Cantabile. I came into the show with the impression I'd be watching a romance, but the attachment between Shinichi and Nodame was a lot more subtle than I expected, with few overt displays of affection by Shinichi to mark the strengthening of their bond. But it was done well, so I had the pleasure of seeing another good anime. Unlike Glass Mask (2005), and Kaleido Star, Cantabile doesn't have a plot that consists in the protagonist overcoming seemingly impossible difficulties. Instead, they present Shinichi as someone of formidable abilities, and he just deals with things as they come, allowing the major focus to be on the relationships between the characters. I didn't feel as warm and fuzzy after the last episode of Nodame Cantabile as, say, Aishiteruze Baby, but it did leave me smiling.

Wow, I finally get to post a real show here (sorry Candy Boy)!! Good god it's been a while since I've finished a series. So here I go!!
I finished Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. And I guess considering the paucity of my anime viewing time, this show just fits. No real story, doesn't require much attention to watch, and every episode stands by itself. It's a quick watch when you've got a little time. I wouldn't call it good, but it satisfies and ends before it got too stale (then again, which season two coming . . .) I like the manga more though. |

Finished watching;
Blood+ - I didnt expect this series to be good but turns out it was really good.Espacially the episodes about Sif was awesome. Lucky Star - It was a nice watch.Nothing special but its relaxing and fun from time to time. Nodame Cantabile - Enjoyed this series a lot.The ending was a bit absurd but i can recommend this to anyone probably. |

I just finished School Days in one sitting (not that it was good, I wanted to get over with it asap...).
Here's what I posted on the SD thread: Quote:

Just finished watching Code-E and wow was my initial understanding of this series totally off, anyhow i feel glad that even being partially slice of life type of serie i was fairly entertained.
Now time to see what other anime can keep me busy for sometime. |

I recently finished Tenjho Tenge it was kind of meh. The flashback kind of killed it and I didn't care much for Nagi and found Aya just so damn annoying. Also the ending sucked.
