What I just finished watching and what I thought about it 2 (USE SPOILER TAGS)

Gundam F91

At first I just thought it was awful writing but when I found out it was first written as a series, it all made sense. The really sad thing is that I think it would have made a good series, it felt like a good mix between ZZ and the original plus a little Vifam thrown in. Unfortunately nothing good really comes out of this cobbled together movie and what potential there is is ruined by the script being hacked to pieces. The pacing is all over the place, characters don't evolve in a natural way and allegiances shift faster than you can think. Outside of the main character and his love interest, no other characters are given any amount of time and even they're pretty short on time.

I really wish they had made the series they planned but as it stands it's a forgettable and at times bad movie.

Midnight Parasites was pretty okay. Other than that and Stamp Fantasia (meh) this man has done nothing but utter crap.

I found Midnight Parasites a bit too weird for my tastes (but it was slightly less pointless than The Bathroom).

Ontopic:

I've jsut finished Shonan Junai Gumi. It was hard to not to compare it with GTO (after all it's a prequel). It was less funny and a bit more serious than GTO but overall it's ok and entertaining.

I just finished guilty crown and deadman wonderland.
They were a little bit of the same concept, with the apacolypse thing in tokyo that is.

Deadman wonderland:

It had a great start, I got into it really fast and wanted to watch as much as possible. However, about halfway throught it started to get a little bit bored and the ending was a little but of a letdown. Description of ending scene:

In the last episodes the people were trying to escape, but were caught. Ganta ended up head to head with the monk/priest/undertaker guy and killed him in one hit i was expecting a bit more of a fight

In the end I thought it was a pretty good anime and with a original power. The intro song was amazing btw.

Guilty Crown:

It was great. good start, kept my attention all the way through and had really cool fighting scenes. The music in the show was also really good. in short: I loved it.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!

Was KyoAni and looked pretty adorable so I picked this up, glad I did. Was a great watch beginning to end with good humor and interesting characters. I am disappointed

that Dark Flame Master never fought in one of those crazy ass battles full of magic and shit

but I still enjoyed the show!

Shinryaku!? Ika Musume / Squid Girl Season 2

What I Liked: Same as with Shinryaku! Ika Musume / Squid Girl. New: The transition from silly to serious in the last episode was less jarring than in the first season.
What I Didn't: Slight quality drop in animation, but not something that annoyed me too much. Opening theme was grating and less likeable than the first season's cutesy OP.
Other Thoughts: I watched the FFFpeeps release and I've got to say: Their subs suck. Even with my sub-standard level of Japanese, I could pick out the more glaring mistakes…

Final Verdict: While it brings nothing new to the table nor improves on its previous season, Squid Girl Season 2 still entertains and teases out a few laughs. A good companion to the first season.

I just finished Canvas 2 ~Niji Iro no Sketch~ it was ok, but...

WHY did they have to kill Tomoko-san in the end? Why was that necessary, she was one of my favorite characters NO SERIOUSLY, they were rapping it all up but why in the world would you make her die? What was the reasoning behind that? Did they want to make the ending more dramatic? And while I'm at it, the ending sucked a bit, in my honest opinion. Hiroki was going out with Kiri and suddenly he falls in love with his cousin? I don't know it's just what I think. I liked the anime, but the ending blew it.(If maybe I understood something wrong, please correct me.
