This all reminds me that I should start reading the Claymore manga again. There should be quite a bit of chapters available since I stalled it.

Same with History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi and Yankee-kun to Megane-chan.

I'm very glad to have watched this series. It is the first anime after Death Note to get me so anxious and eager for the next episode! There were episodes were i could feel my brain being torn apart. The last 2 episodes were really awesome (though i kinda predicted the outcome)
The animation is a downer at first, but it grows on you

The Bridge Arc was the best thing ever! I had my guts at my throat both times I watched it and after episode 14 my buddy accumulated so much stress he just had to go out for a long smoke break. Tonegawa's speech gave it a very thick layer of depth, too, and it was even very touching at a certain point.

Glad you enjoyed the show though. The last episode is amazing in many ways, it never gets tiring for me to rewatch it.
... Actually, I think I'll do so now. And yes, Kaiji II is just as good!

There are animes that aren't so bad to drop them, but also aren't so hot to keep you interested. Yozakura Quartet is exactly like that. Watching 8 eps, leaving it for few months ,and finishing it up now - it seemed really plain. Just some typical characters, with easy to predict story and obvious reactions. This anime is very incarnation of "average" in every way.

I just finished with Yozakura Quartet and I have to say that Szwagier pretty much nails it. None of the characters manage to be more than slightly interesting, with the main villain being so much of a arch-typical one-shot bad-guy I couldn't even manage to like or dislike him at all. A forgettable show if ever there was one.

Kowarekake no Orgel- I liked it though I suspect that if I had watched Chobits before this, it woul've been predictable

BLAME!- I liked the abstractness but I would've liked to have a bit more...plot
