I will pretty much try anything and see if I like it within the first 2~3 episodes.
Although as a rule I go for Romance/School type stories as a first choice.

Summary. Though good music will usually get me to see some (or all) of it, that doesn't mean I liked it. I don't care who made it, and it can look as pretty as it wants, but if there's no story or character it's not interesting (exceptions: Last Exile and Satoshi Urushihara works, because they are just that pretty). Manga I might be more "brand" loyal (Kei Toume, Yua Kotegawa, Shin Takahashi, Kiyohiko Azuma, Milk Morinaga), but not with anime.
Of course, that's not to say I won't preview a lot. I even previewed KnJ because I found the actual story (manga; I only saw a few minutes of the anime) itself to be good, even if it was garbage due to the overloading on the pedophilia. Last edited by purplemo; 12-15-2007 at 05:13 PM. |
