Default Anime Status Questions

Just wanted to hear what others think because I'm having trouble with how to mark some of the anime i'm finding.

1. I've found several anime that I watched on TV, but would end up missing some of the episodes when I didn't have the time to watch them. Would I still mark it as watched?

2. This one's probably more opinion, but I want to hear what others think. If it's an anime that you haven't watched for a long time would you still mark it as watched?

Thanks

My logic for both situations is ''rewatch or don't mark''.

Reason for which you can't find in my Watched list, say, Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon.

I would use the system in the best way that suits you personally. If you want it to be a record strictly of the series you have watched 100% of the episodes, then don't mark it watched. If, on the other hand, you pretty much know the gist of what happened and consider the series as done for you, go for watched. If you knew the # of episodes you missed, you could just subtract that from the total and mark it stalled.

I watched a lot of stuff on TV in my high school years, but I was never certain if I watched the entire series, so I marked them as "stalled" or "want to watch" until I have time to watch them in their entirety.

As for watching something years ago, it depends on how much you remember. If you remember most of the plot or have watched it multiple times in the past (just not in the past few years), mark it as watched. Otherwise, if you only have vague memories of it, leave it unless you have a desire to watch it again.

If you missed episodes but you saw a majority, I'd say it's fine to mark as watched. I don't know many souls in the universe that saw every episode of Dragonball Z.

... You act like 300 episodes is alot..

I've most likely seen DBZ at least 2 times in the full. One time for sure I started at episode 1 to 291

Look at all the people watching One Piece..

^ To be fair, most people watching One Piece do it from the beginning and/or by downloading the eps, so it's much more ''controlled'' than just catching eps on TV as most of us did with DBZ in the old days.
