I believe it would be interesting if anyone could share mistakes of any kind they have encountered in any anime; anything odd that doesn't seem right such as grammatical errors in "engrish" translated signs in the background, a character that speaks a line with the voice of another character, errors or anything else that feels out of place. Excluding mistakes in the actual anime subtitles, since there are tons of those, and tons of different fansubs.
Allow me to start with a mistake I have encountered in Magical Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, episode 19: Surprising, isn't it? |

There are several thing i usually notice in anime that don't really bother me, but i do get a chuckle from. I did notice while i was watching Blue Gender, that some of the english on the computers contains no r's.

There's a ton. Brooklym (Chrno Crusade) is one I remember right now off the top of my head. Lots of "English" speakers in anime make weird engrish mistakes too. I remember seeing some mistakes listed in the things that annoy you thread.

I read this thread last night right before I went to bed and I had a dream that the azumanga daioh subs for the official release where severely botched. (Which of course is not true)

i noticed that one too and thought maybe his name was actually 'blandon' and the subbers assumed it was the more common 'brandon'.
