Anime you most recently dropped and why?

So, which anime have you most recently dropped, and why? and after how many episodes?

I dropped Murder Princess after 1 and a half episodes. It was dull, for one, but what really bothered me were the cutesy character designs. They didn't meld with the plot (or title) of the show. Some looked like they ran out of a tea party from the AstroBoy-verse and I just couldn't stomach it.

Of course...I was also watching Monster at the time....

Minami-ke: Didn't live up to the manga. The gags are better on paper when you can go through them in 5 seconds than stretched out for 5 minutes.

Goshuushousama Ninomiya-kun: Had hoped that without a worthless male lead this one might be different than the usual harems. Nope.

Maburaho. It was starting to feel too predictable and wasn't holding my interest.

El cazador or whatever - cuz it doesnt have interesting characters and seem very boring.

Romeo and juliet- seems like the same as any other remake. Zzzzz

nodame cantible - already seen the live action drama and it was too much of the same thing except not as well executed.

Blue drops after 2 eps, just can't get myself to finish this. Probebly because I still have the horror that was Kannazuki no Miko in my mind :P. Nah shoujo/shounen-ai series are just not my cup of tea :)

well i am never suppose to drop an anime BUT these 2 cases are just to much for me
Loveless(first half episode) i deleted the series rigth away after i saw a male Kiss at the half of the episode
DesertPunk dropped after 4 episode couldnt handle it just bleh
Soultaker dropped after 5 same as above

Final Fantasy Unlimited: the show lost itself about halfway through and it just didn't make sense to me.

I actually nearly dropped Ah! My Goddess, and for one reason... Skuld. She is like terminal cancer and AIDS wrapped in a moldy tortilla shell of pointless character development... After about 5 episodes of this I stopped watching for around a week. Yet I continue to watch because I really enjoyed everything up until that point.

I guess I would have to go with The Prince of Tennis. Tennis is fun, watching it isn't nearly as interesting, and watching a dramatized anime about tennis is about as exciting as paying taxes.

:( I really wanted this series to be great. Potential new acquisition, but will not be buying at all. I am highly disappointed. It had potential. Key word being "had."

Two specific reasons.
(1) The animation AND artwork: (they are not synonyms) was on par with some of the best I have seen if I recall correctly, predominantly in the first episode only. The second and third episodes lacked the top-notch, fluid animated quality nor the "dark" colors found in the first episode. The first episode had a "movie" like quality; the latter episodes definitely not so much.

(2) Story line lost my interest. I would have preferred the story line to revolve around the first "lead" character. I was hoping for a "Lain" quality, but quickly found it lack such characteristics. Each subsequent episode revolved around new characters, but "hell girl" obviously were part of each new episode. "Hell girl" is not the "lead" character I am referring to.

**I would HIGHLY recommend at least watching the first episode, followed by the second. The 1st is stellar with a tragic drop in the 2nd.
