In Fireaxe's heels, I bought from a friend who likes to buy first and research later

Air box + vol 1-4
King of Bandits Jing boxset
Kannaduki no Miko box + vol 1-3 (limited edition)

Thank god for friends with money to blow and willing to lose on a sale to get free space. Still, the whole thing cost me $55 USD. If it wasn't for Kannaduki being out of print, I would've pushed for lower (yeah, I'm not a good friend when it comes for deals).

I probably paid more than that for 3 of Air's discs alone, what a nice friend you have :p

People loose with money make excellent friends.

You should make some of those friends. Somewhere else on the forum I explained a few of them (the ones where I got a bunch of games I sold out again or the body pillow cover). Even stuff you don't want you can get from them for cheap and resell for a profit.

And to be honest, if I was going to buy Air individually (each DVD separate), I would've bought the first 2 discs also. I know some people only buy the parts they want, so that was why I commented on that (plus I can't be nice and actually not smack down one of your decisions in some way :p). If I buy something, I buy the whole thing, good and bad together.

$10/DVD is usually my upper limit (I actually will probably avoid buying if it's much above $5) unless it's something really high on my list like Haibane, GSG, etc. It's very rare I'm willing to pay full MSRP. Even when I picked up those two I bought for below MSRP.

Picked up some obscure out-of-print manga I've been trying to get my hands on for a while.

Vampire Miyu Vol 1-5
Vampire Yui Vol 1

Now all I need is Miyu Vol 6 which will be a bitch and a half to find considering I think the company closed during printing . . .

If anyone knows where I can pick one up (or know any sellers/vendors who would have this kind of rare stuff), I'd appreciate it if you told. It's always nice to have a list of vendors for rarer stuff.

I bought way too much today. First off I went to Waldens to use the gift card my grandma gave me for Easter. I bought Strawberry Panic Vol 1 and 2, Love Com vol 5, and Yubisaki milk tea vol 7.

Then I went to check out this used dvd/cd store a friend told me about to see if they had any used anime... they did. Not half as much as Best Buy but still a lot more then I expected. So I ended up getting Chrono Crusade box set, FMP TSR vol 1, and 3, Mezzo vol 2 and 3, and Rozen Maiden vol 1, 2, and 3. All this rang up to only about $70 thanks to their spring clearance sale.
