Well, I live in a brick house (exterior only). And brick does have some sound absorption qualities. I also don't care for my neighbor's. They are asshats and I wish they would move. I very rarely turn my surround up that loud as well. But, when I do, it is fucking glorious and the neighbor's can fuck off.

Alone in my room on my computer, sometimes at my desk, sometimes from bed. When I watch anime with decent to good music and/or sfx (Cowboy bebop, Lucky Star etc) I plug my bass into the computer and play along to everything. Some opening songs make good etudes for a few episodes. And I typically watch anime after a meal, whilst drinking tea.

I watch anime; like so: On my laptop, usually on top of bed, preferably with a cup of tea at my side. I do on occasion hook my laptop up to the good ol' LCD for a bit of high def action whenever no one's around. /closetfan

For the most part, I watch them alone, during my downtime.
Although on rare occasions, my friends and I would sit down and watch anime. More specifically on animes that I never intended to watch since my friends would constantly bug me to watch their new favorite anime.

^ Cats don't often recommend shows to you. Mine sure loves to block my sight while watching a good one though.
