Can Anime characters be attractive?

Do you think that anime characters can be attractive to us? Despite that they are drawn.
I don't know why it is but I think they can be, anime is different from cartoons. People who don't like anime say it's like fancying a cartoon but even though they're drawing anime characters have something different, something I can't quite figure out.

By attractive I don't mean like fall it love with a character.

Discuss and upload pictures because there is an over load of hentai and picture that would probably wouldn't be allowed to be uploaded.

I think we should avoid pictures with sex and bare boobs, just to be safe.

Sure they can be attractive. One just hopes that people realized it's a stylized depiction, and don't start thinking that's what people actually do/should look like.
