My Fellow anime lovers.
As you all well know, Here at Anime Planet. Members just love our anime. I just want to do some background research and I want to find out how much to our Anime Planet members watch anime. Of course most people would be limited to how much their internet speeds are and this can only allow for afew episodes a day. I usually finish a average anime series (26 episodes) around 2 days. I want to hear some you Anime Planet member's watching habbits. -Please indicate your average number of episodes a day and your internet speed. -Please indicate if you do have a anime Binge (full on episode after episode watching anime) and how many anime episode you can cover in that anime Binge Last edited by shortlex; 12-22-2007 at 05:34 PM. There was IIRC one time I've watched 8 in a row, with Last Exile. Sometimes 6 happen, usually these are the last 6 in a story-driven show, kinda silly to leave out the last two or three.
Usually I find it optimal to watch, for good ones, 4 in a row, +/- as the story goes. Happened more with Gantz (despite being boring) due to its incredibly slow pace and two eps barely counting as one. I have much longer span with movies, e.g. didn't split Das Boot (6 hours) and Dune (7 hours); now watching Angel, 4x40-min eps a day. However, anime generally bores me out much quicker, as it tries to flash the viewer rather than immerse him into lifelike picture. Or, in case of things like Texhnolyze, while good, they aren't designed to be watched too fast. As for the average, it's probably 0.8-1.2 episodes per day, though this is attributable to days I really find nothing better to do than to spend 2 hours watching anime, rather than daily consumption. |

I decided that I ave about 3 hours a day which is why I chose 12. I have days like monday when I watch at least 5. I dont really believe as much the people who'd say they watch too much more than I do cause their profile would look like
http://www.anime-planet.com/users/anime.php?usersid=40 now if you are talking about a good binge... I have been known to occasionally go over 36hours straight >_> |

I don't have much time to watch anime. But when I'm on vacation and have some days to watch anime... I sit for hours.
I watched Full Moon wo Sagashite (52 episodes) in 3 or 4 days. Months later I rewatched it in a slower pace. Yesterday I watched 20 episodes of Bokura ga Ita. xD yup. |

NO way I could go 36 hours man.... a "binge" day for me is about 13 eps. My kids would not be very happy with me if I tried to watch more than that in a single day. My anime watching time usually consists of >before the small humans wake in the morning, and after they go to bed at night ^_^
