I barely remember it, which is a good indication that I should probably rewatch the series one of these days, but the only time I can ever remember crying during an anime was Monster:

Like he sacrifices himself for his friend..;( Basilisk Quite a lot of times. Because there are a lot of sad deaths and they are portrait-ed beautifully. But the dead of tenzen made me want to cheer!
