The pain may not bother him, but if his head is literally shot off, then that's going to stop him. He isn't bullet proof.

He got shot and survived, never said in the head. Also if your hit with a stop sign or vending machine... usually ya dont survive... IRL anyways

Shizuo would most likely use a lamp-post/vending machine & brute strength,
while Ladd would likely use a shotgun/Thompson submachine gun & brute strength.

As Izaya proved, it's not impossible to hold your own against Shizuo having agility & reflexes, which Ladd both has, but i still think they would kill eachother, there isn't really an obvious victor in my eyes.

You're not very good at this. We are talking about a hypothetical situation. Not a situation that had happened. You can't say someone will win by basically saying that they are immortal. He isn't. Real world rules, and the shows rules may be different, but his NOT IMMORTAL. He can get hurt, and he can die.

Well i never said he was immortal he is not Celty nor is he a member of the immortals. In a real life situation yes a gun can kill you, seen it before know all about it. But with that being said a gun is only as good as the person who uses it i dont know much about Ladd, so much of my conjecture is based off what i know of Shizuo.There are also many other factors that would come into play. With that being said my answer still stands.

As much as I love Ladd's complete and utter batshit insanity, I'd have to say Shizuo would have the upper hand, considering he took on an entire squad of vampires without being taken down; this is without weapons though.
Ladd's recklessness with a Tommy would probably win at range.
