Rec threads aren't allowed because the site already has a huge recommendation database. You should try checking the mecha tag or the alien tag. The other option is to check the recs for mecha anime you already like.
Although since the thread is here: Popee turns into a robot if he's wearing the right mask and there is an alien so I'm going to say you should watch Popee the Performer... |

Or you can use the advance search feature and choose to only show anime tagged with both the mecha and alien tags.
