Okay this is a Topic about what kind of anime person you are.

I'm just curious to see what you guys are.

I'm a Closet Anime Watcher, I'm pretty sure no one knows I like anime besides my closest friends, and I don't own hardly any anime stuff except a Celibi Plushie, an anime movie, and a Love Hina light novel.

I dunno, some of these seem a little restrictive. I mean, I think you can be an Extreme watcher and still have friends who aren't that really into it, or be a Casual without reading any manga, private or public.

Im stuck between closet and casual. i have never and will never go to conventions, and i have never head a manga in public. But im a huge fan of Japanese culture, have tons of Japanese music on my ipod and have anime backgrounds on my computer. I only take about anime with my one friend that got me into it, and if anyone should bring it up themselves.

These descriptions are pretty specific.

Even though I rather dislike the term, I fit almost perfectly in ''Closet Anime Watcher''. No conventions, no cosplay, no posters, the only manganime-related thing I buy is manga volumes, finished highschool with a 9.7/10 average, Japanese music in my MP4, none of my friends are really into anime.

I intend to at least fix the first and last things next year though. The other ones are perfect as they are.

Why no conventions?

I'm in between the two also. I love conventions, but won't travel too far for them. I do cosplay a lot though. I watch some anime, but much more non-anime stuff. Same with manga. I like it and read a fair amount, but way more non-manga books. People know I like anime, but none of them do, so we don't talk about it much since they don't care. I don't really agree with the definition of "closet watcher" though because that makes me sound ashamed of it, like I hide it, when the description makes it sound more like someone who is just into it less than the others.

I'd consider myself a casual fan even though my shelfs are full of anime and manga and I never actually cared about school. I've never cosplayed before and I don't really collect much other anime related merchandise though.
