The composite video top loaders are extremely rare since they were replacements and not a lot of people got them, so they cost more, if you can even find them.

The Top Loaders in general also cost more than the regular NES.

Not exactly old school, but I do like a number of older games on PC as well compared to current games. Plus, it doesn't help that the console market is taking over and a lot of PC games these days are lousy ports. :\

My favorite era for PC gaming is probably between the late 90s and early 2000.

Sadly, I can't get most games from the early 90s or late 80s working on my computer anymore, so I don't play many of those these days.

Bah, with the weather being what it is today and the power flickering, I'm going to stop playing Top Gear 2 for now. At least I got to a point where it gave me a password. A random 22 digit password.

random level code password are the best until you forget to write down the code or can't remember one of the characters

Oh, I wrote it down, on a napkin. So hopefully I don't use the damn thing. But really now, isn't that just fucked up? You need to keep something to write with and on in case the game uses a password system. Just what every kid wanted to do when playing Nintendo. It feels like taking notes in class. Fuck, this reminds me of adventure/rpg games that don't use a map, so you either some how remember the layout or write that shit down too.

Or....

Nintendo Power. Hmm, I wonder how far back my catalog of Nintendo Power goes. Wait a minute... that shit is boxed up in the attic... fuuuuuuuuck.

I still have most of my Nintendo Power. I did get rid of a few that were in terrible shape.
