Street Fighter X Tekken: Team Up Attack Go!

So, looks like Capcom is crossing Street Fighter and Tekken. This could be supremely awesome or be a horrible birth of mismatched styles. They are using the artwork for SF4 in the crossover.

I didn't care much for the last Tekken. But I might have to get this game just for the fighting stages. Mechs and Dinosaurs @_@ that is awesome

I really need to get a quality arcade stick for fighting games though. I just haven't been able to justify the costs.

Capcom stated that they are trying to make the game appealing to both Street Fighter and Tekken fans, so it will probably either be nailed or it will flop... but Capcom have not dissapointed me since Devil May Cry 2 so I'm confident they shall do it right :)

If they don't bog the game down with too many characters, and make sure that the joystick control isn't shitty...it JUST might work.

I heard they are releasing 2 versions, a SF version & a Tekken version, I for one can't STAND Street Fighter graphics, total shit when compared to Tekken.

I'm pretty sure it's only on the PS3, Xbox and Vita.

Maybe it's relevant you bumped this old as fuck thread just to talk about the new 2013 patch of the game. It's no secret SFxT was one of the biggest disappointments for a Capcom fighting game ever, but the company is still trying to patch the game into a decent state. The 2013 patch is supposed to make the game less "time-out-ey" as well as get rid of the multitude of gems they were trying to go with before.

Capcom finally realized making a thousand different combinations of 3 gems wasn't the way to go with the game(there was also lots of controversy with the auto-block and auto-combo gems), so the gems now are basically designed like grooves in the Alpha series. There's a defensive set, an offensive set, a meter set and I forget the others but you get the point.

Some characters also got some changes (nerfs mostly I think) and Pandora remains a non-viable tactic.

Anyway, that's all I remember and even I barely care about his game so I'll stop right here.
