Think I am going to trade in my Wii tomorrow. I haven't used it in a few years now. That didn't sound right.....Darn you Nintendo for naming it Wii.

I plan to keep my games for it though. I figure I will end up getting a Wii-U in the future anyway.

Your virtual console purchases are transferable to the Wii-U. You may want to hang onto it for a bit more if you have any goodies from the VC you'd like to keep.

Hmm I better see how many I have. I think I only have 2 or 3. So that wouldn't be too much of a loss.

At this point a Wii isn't really worth that much money unless you sell it to a young kid you know for like 30 or 40. My twin brother likes using it to play gamecube games.... sometimes. Next year I think i'm going to homebrew it so that I can mod brawl. My roommate has spent tons of hours working on his version.

Right now at Gamestop they are doing "Double in-store credit when you trade any system." so the Wii is worth $60.
