I'm really excited about it.
Tried the 360 demo, which is fun, but it only lets you play the starting levels, which essentially amounts to collecting your starting weapons, but you get to do very little with it. Controls work great though and it seems very promising. Where as I've seen tons of the later footage, which just looks absolutely awesome. Although, I'm not very fond of the 360 version as the game seems to have been developed PS3 as the lead with R1 and L1 (all the developer videos show these buttons and always use the PS3 version for demonstrations) doing the polarity switching and such, which is fairly crucial. The 360 version is mapped with the bumpers for that though, which is extremely uncomfortable to constantly toggle on and off. May want to look into Outland if that's the case. Although, the demo doesn't show much of it. It's kind of like Metroidvania with Ikaruga's polarity switching, and some additional platforming acrobatics. |

This year is going to be expensive. I mean just in the months of Sept-Nov I'm already spending over 500 dollars on games and that's only on the big name titles, most of which are all sequels, and that's assuming that I don't end up buying a special edition of the game or something. But when thinking about the fact that E3 is only a week and a half away and I'm sure that some more games will come up that I need to get and then there's also that fact that I still need to preorder some games that come out next year.

I enjoyed the demo for that one. I'd probably buy it if it were $10, but it's $15, and I feel more like I'm paying the extra $5 for pretty graphics rather than anything better than other games I've played at similar prices. |

![]() I heard Gatling Gears is pretty short too. Hopefully it will be worth replaying. Last edited by KnoxSe7eN; 05-25-2011 at 01:20 PM. |
