Welcome to the "Guess The Movie"-Game

1. Allowed content in pictures

1. Characters

3. Objects

for the last 2 goes a special rule:
- People must be able to identify the object or place 100% with 1 movie.

4. Movie must be available as a finished product (preferable a rip available online also).

2. New picture

1. Only the one that guessed the picture the last time right is allowed to post a new picture!

Exclusion to this rule:
- If the one who guessed the picture last time right allows someone else to post one everyone can!
- If the person doesn't post a new picture after 24h they guessed right, it's also free to someone else to post a new one.
- If you answer correctly you MUST post or you MUST let someone else post if you don't post for some reason. either way you are NOT ALLOWED to answer for one round. If you answer, you will be ignored and the point / half point will go to the next person to answer


3. Guesses

1. If the poster of the picture does not reply to guesses (or requests for hints) within 48 hours, someone else can post a new picture to keep the game going.

2. You can only have ONE guess per POST.

3. Double posting is NOT allowed. You need to wait for the pic poster to post a response to your guess to make another guess.


4. Points

1. 1 point for a correct answer (name of the person/place/object or the movie if it's the only thing asked)

2. 0.5 points for a partly right answer (e.g. Actor without Movie, Movie without Actor)

3. The maximal points for 1 person for 1 picture is 1 Point!


5. Questions

1. You can ask for 2 things maximum to avoid having to award more then two 0.5 points


6. URL

- Download the image, rename it and upload the image on some image hosting site before linking it here.

well it's correct, and yeah I'll add that rule :P

dont add this rule! you wont be able to check if the guy who guessed it did NOT check the url. instead, think about it, download the picture, rename it and upload it again(imageshack, photobucket and whatever). xD

well, you may add it, but it won't change a thing :P

why would you need to download it first? Isn't it just enough to directly add it to an image hosting site?

Ok well I uploaded the image on imagehost and changed the link to there. Can you still get the original URL from it?

its still viewable, change the name before uploading, change it to something fun :p like BananaMovie :p
