Interesting story during the intermission, so I re-watched The American Tail a few months ago and wow, that was a lot more violent than I remember. At the beginning there's all these russians being shot and homes being raided. There's also a lot of references to wanting to kill and destroy people but hey, all of us who watched those films turned out alright...right?

yeah- they totally show a pogrom, which is why a lot of families did flee Russia for the U.S. It all turned out alright for Fivel in the end even though there were 'cats in America', so that softened the blow, I guess.

Although honestly the only films I really know are animated ones so I guess that's one reason I can't really get most of the guesses.
