I've think I found a bug in the custom lists on the main site.
I just can't change the order of my entries anymore, however I can add/delete entries. I use Internet Explorer 9 (RTM version) and I've got Windows 7 SP1 64 bit. Cleaning up my cache and stuff didn't helped. I don't really now when this problem started, it must be when I upgraded to IE9 or when the lay-out changed. If you want to know some more specific information, just ask. ;) Thanks. Last edited by DeathlyForce; 03-25-2011 at 06:49 AM. |

Works fine for me (using firefox 3.6).
Have you tried it with any other browsers (firefox, opera, chrome, safari, etc)?

All I gotta say is Firefox and chrome are the way to go for web browsers. Most compatible browsers currently since a lot of website developing is based off of these 2.

I've tried it with Firefox 4 and there it worked.
It's strange, in IE9 I just can't drag my entries anymore... However, I'm not planning on changing to firefox or an other browser. I'll try to look a bit more around in the settings of IE9, maby it will work... EDIT: It seems nothing in the settings was wrong. Tried a reset but didn't worked either... Any other suggestions? It's been firmly established time & again (even with the more recent versions of IE) that IE doesn't conform to standards & things that work in every other browser on the market completely bork in IE. Very rarely will you ever see anyone have a browser related problem that is specific to any browser other than IE (not counting beta releases, which are inherantly buggy), the vast majority of times where there's a browser specific bug, it'll be some version of IE.
This isn't bashing or anything, it's just a statistical fact. I prefer firefox myself. Chrome is a memory hog & I just don't care for the overall experience of using it. Opera performs the best out of all the browsers, but it's one of the least customizable & (as with chrome) I just don't like the overall experience. I don't like IE at all. However... This isn't about telling anyone what browser they should or shouldn't use. All browsers are far from perfect, it's just a matter of choosing one whose faults you can live with. Regardless, no one's telling anyone to switch browsers here, we're just using the browser coparisons as a testing method. What ver of IE did you upgrade from? Knowing what ver it worked in before might narrow down where the problem lies. Also, did you try turning compatability mode on or off? Sometimes that fixes issue in IE8 (dunno about IE9).

Why didn't I think earlier on that.
I've did almost everything except trying compatability mode. ![]() I just tried with compatability mode on and than the problem is fixed... Thanks Drahken and sorry everyone for the inconvenience. I was using IE8, but I updated to IE9 a week ago or something. |
