Default [Bug] Links in profile containing & are neutered

I'm not sure why, but- for me- when making a link in a profile "http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=12169" becomes "http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&;u=12169", rendering it dead.

Why do you want to link to a private section in first place?

That might be an intentional feature, to protect against certain kinds of spam links (then again, it may just be a bug).
In any case, you could always just use tinyurl on the link.

so i was looking at this one, right now it appears the sanitize function converts them to this:

http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/pr...wpm&%3Bu=12169

^^though this renders for me

lemur, what browser are you using, and does it still do the breaking link behavior? if so, we will look into fixing the sanitize function

I think Lemur is refering to the 'Forum PM' link button in her profile. Which works for me.
So I think the solution should be good as long as the link works for Lemur's browser.

The only difference between that link and the link that you posted sothis being that the PM Lemur's link pulls up is automatically addressed to Lemur's forum account.
