I have noticed that there are no production value tags on the site. I am always encountering people who ask both in real life and on the forums about recommendations or examples of the best of anime from a production standpoint. It might be useful to have tags to highlight anime famous for excellent animation, beautiful cinematography, well animated and choreographed fight/action scenes etc. Requests like these always pop up everywhere.

I think that's more what reviews are for. The problem with tags based on quality is that quality is very subjective. Sure, it's clear that certain series have higher/lower production values than others, but where is the baseline? Does series {X} have "high" production values, or does it just have highER values than series {Y}?
Along the same lines, where do kiddie series fit in? Compared to series for older audiences, all kiddie series have simpler/more basic art and animation, yet a given series may have very high production values relative to other kiddie series, so would that series get a high tag or a low tag? ...and if a given kiddie series gets a "high" tag, then can you really justify giving a given older audience series a "low" tag, despite the fact that it's quality is nearly identical to said kiddie series (which is low compared to other older audience series)?
