I'm sorry.. I never made a suggestion before that could best benefit both the site and users before. So I apologize if this idea sound ridiculous a head of time.
I would like to make a suggestion about the review feature on this site. You see, I notice that many users have only ever reviewed about the subs, and when someone reviews for the dub that it can sometimes confuse other users on their decision to watch. I notice this with myanimelist and many other sites with a review feature as well. So I was thinking why not make something like a Dub vs Sub review (I said something like not exactly like). Not only would the site be the first to do so (that I know of) that gives an opinion upon which is better but it can also help users understand which they are reviewing and help them decipher better upon whether to watch or not.. (also I have a feeling that there be more users reviewing if so... just a feeling.) I know that this idea seems a bit far fetched, or ridiculious as I said.. I was just thinking that it might help in some way. (You can just ignore this one if you want.) Now for my question... I having trouble with the importing list feature. I am not sure what it wants me to do. Does it want me to save it to my documents? If so, than how does it want me to do that.. (I've tried.. it is rather difficult.)?

Imo, the language doesn't affect how good the show is very much, it's only a small component. It doesn't affect the other things you should be basing your review on such as artwork, music, plot, characters, etc.
People will no doubt rate dubbed shows waaay worse, even though there have only been a few small changes. |

In many of my official site reviews, if there is dual audio available, I will watch half of the show dubbed and the other half subbed.
Doesn't help that I don't particularly like dubs though, as it kind of affects the impartiality :p H.

AP isn't the only site that does it. ANN does dub vs. sub comparisons in most of their DVD reviews. |

I'm sorry it took me awhile to respond. I'm probably not being too clear on the dub, sub thing.
Yes, I've noticed that too and what I mean; isn't there away that you can seperate the two. Like ANN does. They ask the synopsis, plot, animetion/art, translation, dub version, and special features. Here it is sort of lacking, which concerns me somewhat. If people don't know which they are talking about, it can get confussing. After all the VAs descide most of the like and dislike of an anime. For example; (and I'm sure sothis may know what I am talking about) if you watched your favorite series was being dub by FUNimation. When you hear the finish dubbing process and once you put your emotions for the series and let your rational mind come back in place, you'll notice that when you re-watch it that things aren't all that great. What happens? You view on the series changes, you can become discrated by the bad cast and loose interest in many things. Some of your images of the character changes.. Well lets say it is not a pretty site. With Kuroshitsuji's dubbing I my like of it lowered and I still can't get the image of Sebastian as a perverted old man with a nasal problem, and Ciel as a grown woman with a slight gruff tone... And a few other things I don't want to talk about. You see, it does have some role to play in the likes and dislikes. I just think it should be considered more before actually being put into a denied papers pile.
