You can request any manga to be added in this thread. At this time we are not adding OEL titles or doujinshi.

When requesting a new manga, include a link to its entry on Baka-Updates Manga . Other site links are not needed and will not be used - we need the MU page to add the entry.

re Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-Chan!!: It's difficult to say at this point. Up to vol 2 (all that's translated as of now), it's mostly the same but with minor differences. However, the bat/urine/orgasm part didn't appear at all until the last chapter of vol 2, so it's hard to say whether or not the missing parts from the anime synop will appear later in the manga.
One key difference though is that the manga has much less ecchi (at least up to this point). No nudity, only a couple panty shots, etc. Then again, it looks like it -might- be taking a sudden turn at this point. The only thing to do is wait for vol 3 to get translated.

...Then again, the anime synop does currently fit up until the last 2 lines, so you could just copy over all the synop except the last 2 lines.

Also, the manga scanlation translates the one girl's name as "arrester" instead of "aresta", I don't know which one would be better to go with.


edit: I just watched the first episode of the anime. When they made the anime, they ramped up the perversion level quite a bit, the manga is much MUCH tamer.

edit2: I've read all of the first 2 volumes, and while most of the descript fits the manga, the last couple lines (about hentai, the bat, etc) don't. There was one (and only one) instance where arrester was hit by the bat & wet her pants, but no such instance with plug, and nothing about them watching hentai. The manga focuses on plug's going against company policies & methods.

I just looked at this, and they're counting each 4-koma strip as an independant chapter, thus resulting in 132 (based on current translations) "chapters". Also, this is probably a webcomic (the art screams that it was done with a computer).

In an attempt to garner more data, I checked out the scanlator's site: Lililicious
According to that page, the series was first published in physical form, then in a dj and online.

It was first printed in the magazine Anise and the newsletter Labrys-Dash. A number of the strips were then collected into a doujinshi, and many of them were later serialized online.
Note: We've scanlated all of the Plica strips that are available online, and are currently working on some others that were only printed in the Plica doujinshi or Anise. (For the releases of the book strips, we're omitting any strips that we already scanlated as part of the webcomic. If anyone is curious about which strips were included in the doujinshi and in what order, I can put a list together.)

MU and mal both list the "episodes" seperately, ANN lists them as one entry, but a woefully outdated one (at least 2 "episodes" behind).
Wiki lists them in a sort of hybrid way.

At present there seems to be 7 "episodes", with a total of 24 volumes, with 3 of the "episodes" as ongoing and the other 4 completed.
I think the simple fact that multiple "episodes" are ongoing at the same time precludes them being counted as a single series.
The best solution would be to set the current entry to "complete" and reduce the vol count down to 4, then add the other 6 series as seperate entries.

Also, MU lists an 8th "episode" but with no data, leaving the impression that the 8th one is planned but not yet published. This would make sense because the manga is based on a game series, and the game series has 8 episodes, with all the titles precisely matching the manga ones currently in existance. Since this 8th series doesn't seem to havbe been published yet though, obviously we can't add it to a-p yet.

mods, i've done the following:

-changed the orig entry to episode 1; made it 4vol/23 chs (wiki seems to confirm these are all normal chapters)

-i'm not sure about the ch count of ep 2: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...e_Golden_Witch, maybe one of you cxan find the raws? wiki makes it look like there's 28 normal chapters, but MU says 26 is the last one subbed, then 'extras'. so maybe it's 26? i left off chapters for now. also not sure what to put for dates - MU says 2008, wiki says 2009-2010

i dont know if MU has something wrong here, as they list this as a separate entry: Baka-Updates Manga - Umineko no Naku Utage ni: Tea Party of the Witches but that makes it look like the 'extras' of ep 2 are the same thing. and i doubt osmething would really be 1 vol ongoing since 2009 with only one chapter

-ep 3, same problem, not sure of the years based on MU/wiki. the chs arent anywhere near up to date and they have the same confusing 'tea party' chs at the end of vol 5, so im not sure if we can add chs

-ep 4, same prbolem with chapters (in theory it might be 26 chs but am not sure), same issue with years

-ep 5, same problem with years

-ep 6, same problem with years

-all of the manga (except ep 1) need a main imgae (i cant do images at work). note that yen press licensed the series, so we may need to swap out some stuff when they start to release it (not till nov 2012 for the first one)

and finally, i dont know what these extra ones are on MU, as mentioned above for the tea party one, i dont necessarily trust these should be entries, or wtf they are at all:

the reason is, ASW has a lot of content - it has a bunch of recommendaitons, , multiple reviews, characters added, etc. if SK was the same way we'd have to make a hard choicce, but in this case, SK has no content attached, and migrating over all the recs/reviews manually would be very very painful. if one of the mods can change over the orig entry (just give SK a garbage url-slug while you make the switch), ill then remove SK

BTW, Juice is already added in your database and it was first published in Malaysia, why not add Kaoru's Cake House as well?

but was it translated for the USA market, or is that just a bootleg? if no one in the USA will be able to buy it to help add the info (which is the purpose of the 'english' rule), and if it's not scanned, imo that's as good as untranslated
