In ANN, there are indeed 4 specials listed, as the episode count in A-P database is also 4 eps. There's Shakugan no Shana-tan, Shakugan no Shana-tan Returns, Itadaki no Hecate-tan and Banjou no Carmel-san. But, all the others are just one episode except for Shana-tan, which has 10 episodes in itself.

It seems that all of these speacials are individuals, so maybe they should be divided into their own entries? If the entry in the database indeed includes those specials, otherwise I have no idea o.O

The four specials cover:
1. Shakugan no Shanatan
2. Shakugan no Shanatan Returns
3. Banjou no Carmel-san

Looking into the lsit of Shanatan specials, they cover more than just the first series. The first two of the specials (Shakugan no Shanatan and Shakugan no Shanatan Returns) are from the first series and make up two of the shana specials.

The third goes with the movie and is this entry: Shakugan no Shana Movie Special | Anime-Planet

Four, five and six are shana second and this entry: Shakugan no Shana II Specials | Anime-Planet

And the last four are Shana S and this: Shakugan no Shana S Specials | Anime-Planet

Hope this clears it up a bit. :)

Ok, so it seems I was a little off. I had only heard that there were to be 2 official Magic Kaito episodes, which were to appear in August because it was a month of Kaitou Kid hijacking the Detective Conan timeslot. But it seems there's another episode set to happen on September 24.

That means we really can't know when episodes will be added until they are announced. But idk what's really going to happen. It looks like they're trying to make a legitimate effort to anime the manga chapters, in which they've managed 4 (Volume 1, Chapters 1, 4, 2, 6, in that order) out of 26 chapters. Apparently Detective Conan OVA 4 is also one of the Magic Kaito manga chapters as well.

The Magic Kaito Specials are indeed being randomly inserted into the Detective Conan series. This all started back in August when they classed it as Kaitou Kid month, however only TWO of the four episodes are actually Magic Kaito Specials. The other two (from the 20th and 27th) are legitimate Conan episodes which just happen to feature Kid. These August viewings account for the first two episodes of the special. However, that is not the end, so it will NOT be marked up as 2 episodes complete.

On September 24th a THIRD Magic Kaito special was aired, and then a FOURTH was shown last week on October 29th (though these have yet to be subbed). This means that currently, the episode count for the Magic Kaito Specials stands at 4. The entry when I went to look at it was marked up as 5, which is incorrect, as that is including the one off special that aired last year and has its own entry, therefore it should not be counted in the 2011 entry.

As for the action I have taken, I have reduced the count down to four episodes (it should be noted that raw/sub files number up to 5, again this is including the 2010 special). I have currently left the entry as ongoing since I can neither confirm that this is the last of the episodes, nor can I confirm that there will be more. Until there is some definite evidence of either of these (or until a significant amount time has passed with no new episodes), this will not be changed.

Also random bit of trivia: OVA 4 was indeed a sort of adaptation of one of the Kaito chapters, though iirc when I read it ages back, Conan didn't actually appear in the manga chapter so it's a fairly bastardised adaptation. :)

Pokemon Chronicles is indeed a USA/UK created 'TV series' which was a compilation of a few OVAs, a TV special and a bunch of other specials aired in Japan over a period of years. Because a considerable amount of people saw Pokemon, dubbed in English, on TV, and because most of the specials that comprise the 'series' weren't really released otherwise, we added it as an entry.

Here's the breakdown of the episodes (our listing is consistent with both ANN and Anidb, who I think both made the right choice in this case):

• Wikipedia lists there being 22 'episodes'
  
• 3 of those episodes make up the (jp) made-for-tv movie Raikou, The Legend of Thunder
  
• Two 'Pikachu's Winter Vacation' OVAs (with two episodes each) were aired as single 'episodes' (so, 2 eps of the 22 episode count for Pokemon Chronicles)
  

This leaves 22 - 5 = 17 episodes. So why do we list 16?

One of the 22 'episodes', 'Trouble in Big Town', is actually one episode of another 3-ep Pikachu's Winter Vacation OVA.

Thus, we've listed 16 total episodes for Pokemon Chronicles, which is all of the episodes not included in other specials/OVAs.

We've also added the following:

• Pikachu's Winter Vacation
  
• Pikachu's Winter Vacation 2000
  
• Pikachu's Winter Vacation 2001

I added the dates as their titles, 1999, 2000 and 2001, though Anidb lists them a year ahead (2000, 2001 and 2002). I can't find definitive reasons why so if someone can fill me in on the details, please do.
