Default [REQUEST][FORUM] Automatic New Posts

I am a member of MacTalk Australia.
It's an Apple Australian Community. Although this fact doesn't apply to Anime Planet, one of their forum features, I would like to put forwards for V4.0

It's a Automatic Forum Spy. It's the only one I've seen on the internet, so I can't say they are the first forum to do that feature. Basically it monitors the forums and when a new post is made on a tread, the ispy is automatically updated to show the post. Someone what like how Push Email works (well the idea is pushing info automatically).

That's just the New Posts link at the top, only you don't have to refresh. I don't see how that's useful.

Macrumors has essentially the same thing set up for mods to track reports.
(A trend in mac forums?)

Very useful, and actually is pretty easy to set up. (As far as set up, at least for MR, it was just a bit of Javascript, probably easily modded to track all new posts instead of just reports)

Okay, if you spent your time only on a forum it may make sense, but I prefer not to be interrupted and to choose conciously when to look for updates. Signing off.
