And then proceed to start a conversation about it on the profile pages or whatever.

Exactly, I don't really care about the actual episodes that someone has just watched, more what they've recently completed. As Vivi says, it's a nice little way to get a conversation going.

no, because then we'd have to store the last updated value of every single thing in 60,000+ user lists. I see your point there. I think showing the last count would have been over kill anyways. I think being able to see what a person recently watched or started watching would be a nice feature though.

I don't fully understand how someone taking an interest in what you've watch classifies them as a stalker.

It's not like someone could take a look at what you've recently watched, somehow get your phone number from it, and start calling you at all hours of the night breathing heavily into the phone or mail you wedding dresses.
