what? telling someone to mark the messages as spam is the WORST SUGGESTION EVER. that means that it'll help ALL anime planet emails get marked as spam for EVERYONE.
goddamit, oehr -_- divine: we plan on having that functionality in place eventually, but it's not yet. please don't be an asshole like oehr suggests and mark the emails as spam, as then that hurts the entire site and everyone who gets any email.

If your email client allows you to set filters, you could set of to trigger when the subject includes "New Profile Comment", and send the resulting mail to the trash folder. This would filter out those annoying profile comment emails without hindering other anime-planet emails.

i thought there was a separate email for those "new comment/pm" mails. any other site i know of does it this way anyway... and ap is different. different is good but it in this case not.
