[Request] Smaller versions of the sigs?

I can't put my A-P sig in amv.org's forums because it, plus links to my AMVs makes my whole sig too big. Can we maybe have alternate, smaller A-P automated banners? Maybe 75-100 pixels high? Maybe just include a life spent on anime bar, or just Watching/want to watch/ect. on it?

Hey guys,

I'm pretty new to the forum, and I realise as such I may be in over my head here. ;-] But I still wanted to ask,

Would it be possible to implement the option in the sig generator to only show the time spent on anime, thus making it smaller in both height and width? (Approx half the width would be good :-] ).

I had a look around the forum, and I saw that there had been some discussion about the signature image sizes already, and that they had been even larger than they are now?! :-O

The reason I'm asking is that I'm not all too keen on signature images, but would at the same time like to display something.

Like I said, I guess I could be well over my head requesting this, being so new, but I'm giving it a shot. ;-]

I don't think it will look go, i reckon the sizes must stay consistent.
If you know what I mean.
Plus the anim-rec sig have a purpose, and having different layouts on where information takes place would be very difficult for many users...
as part of the visual design and navigation that I learn at college, these kinda of stuff must stay consistent to ensure a professional user friendly website

IIRC, sothis did plan to add some new features & options to the sigs in v3.
Consistancy is important, but you can have consistancy without having everything be identical. The sigs could potentially be offered in a few different sizes, and still maintain consistancy through the layout. (ie If you chopped the right end off & moved the username part in the top right over but left everything else the same, it would be about half the length but still be of a consistant (just not identical) design.)
Another option might be keeping roughly the same width, but chopping out the middle (heightwise) portion & turning it into a sort of userbar.

Personally, I don't really like the way the short sig looks. I do think the userbar version turned out nice though.

Drakhen, the upper image there was pretty much exactly what I had in mind! Maybe with the width of the second image, to make it even shorter, but that's spot on. A userbar, that's a really good idea, if implementable. :-]]

I guess we'll see what Sothis offers with V3. Thanks! :-]
