Have you tried a different browser, such as firefox or opera?
Are you behind any kind of firewall? ..Orperhaps a router that has a built in firewall?

No, haven't tried a different browser. And no, I'm not behind a firewall nor router with a built-in firewall. Though I don't see how another browser would change things.

My problem started for me on my laptop that is now dead. But it started out of the blue, I hadn't changed any settings or any thing like that. Now on my old desktop I still can't log in to the main site.

I'm going to try deleting the cookies & temp files and double checking to make sure A-P is set to always allow again just to make sure that's covered.

Potentially, it could change EVERYTHING for you. Browsers have a huge mass of different settings & features that can affect things like this. Any time that yopu have any difficulties on any website, and you've checked all the obvious stuff, the next step is to try it with a different browser. Often the other browser will work where the current one didn't, and when it doesn't work either, that still helps you narrow down the problem because you can then safely eliminate all the browser-related issues & know that the problem lies elsewhere.

Also try a CTRL+F5 on the login page to reset your browser cache.

same here, ff doesnt work, ie does. deleted cookies already, but no go :(

also, my username here got messed up: instead of ?hr (webcode: %C3%96hr ), its now ?–hr (webcode: %C3%83%E2%80%93hr )
i have to login as ?–hr (webcode: %C3%83%E2%80%93hr ) or i get this error:

Appears to be an encoding problem (as i said on irc) - the site/forum itself use charset=iso-8859-1 but if you select in your browser to use unicode (utf8) a¨-hr will appear as o¨hr

Cant login in wiht both IE7 and Firefox tried deleting everything allowing etc still no go on login. I was able login on both browsers fine yesterday.

PS just went from forums to main site and was logged but if try main login Im not.

Oh well, I also can't log in today :) And it doesn't really change anything if I'm using Firefox instead of Opera.
