[Bug] Edit Ignore List

I cannot add to my forum ignore. This is what it shows when I try to access the edit ignore list:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

not sure, i'm not great with vbulletin tweaks/bugs. if anyone else knows the solution and it's quick, i can implement the fix

I'd help but I can't actually access my User CP.

I'm getting the "Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.".
Happens sometimes when I try to change the theme as well.

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? They sometimes get all wonky for reasons unknown.

Yes. Numerous times. And all this trouble to add one name. Just one.

If this was phpBB3 I could help. Not so knowledgeable about VBulletin.

Alright, I got around my problem and encountered yours.

Looks like it may be a skin problem, can you try changing your themes and see if that helps?

hoff- If you just want to add individual people to your list, there's a workaround. Go to the person's forum profile, then click user lists->add to ignore list.


re skins & this bug: I just tried all 4 skins, and they all get the same results, the "this page has no style" msg.

re the skins bug: It seems that you can only change the site skin when you're not on the forum. Pretty weird that the 2 would interfere with each other like that.

It lets me change the site skin while browsing the forum. I haven't had those problems myself though. Maybe it is your browser?

Of course, this does leave you the problem of trying to remove someone from your list. Fortunately there's a workaround for that too. Just use this URL and replace the X's with the user number you want to remove:
http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/profile.php?do=removelist&userlist=ignore&u=XXXXXX X
You can also add users in the same way, just replace "remove" with "add":
http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/profile.php?do=addlist&userlist=ignore&u=XXXXXXX

Even with the "no style" error, the ignore list page will still show you your blocked members, it just takes a bit of looking to sort it out. Each "li id=" is a different user in your list. Find the name you want to unblock, then find the number for the person (it's the one in the "li id=" field, minus the "user" part, it's also the one that's repeated hal a dozen times pery entry), then place it in the remove URL I posted.


All of this is clunky & a PitA, but at least it gets the job done.



edit: re changing skin: Hmm, it does indeed change properly on most forum pages. It looks like it only gives that authorization/token error if you try to change skins while on your userCp page.

After trying it through the User CP I recieve the message:


Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I guess it does only happen on the CP.
