[FEEDBACK] Anime Addition Requests

Hey sothis, any idea how you want to do voltron? Officially lion & vehicle voltron are the same series (voltron: defender of the universe), but in practice it's more like comparing gundam wing to gundam seed (which isn't surprising, since the 2 series which comprise voltron were originally completely unrelated to each other).
If you want to split it up, I could do a summary of lion voltron. (I grew up with it, seen every ep countless times, and watched it again about a year ago.) I'm not sure about screencaps. I have several eps which I recorded the last time it was on cartoon network, but I've had major comp problems lately, and lost nearly all my software. Reinstalling it would be pointless since the problems still exist & I'll be sending it in for repairs very soon.
I don't remember much about vehicle voltron, they haven't aired it again since it's original airing got such poor reception (at least not in this part of the country).
I think it almost has to be a combined review though. Season 1 was lion voltron with footage from the golion series, season 2 was vehicle voltron with footage from the dairugger xv series, but then season 3 was back to lion voltron with new original footage. Seasons 1 & 3 fit together without season 2 in the middle, but omitting season 2 wouldn't give an accurate report of the series.


EDIT: Well, I just emailed you a summary & screens. I took the approach of treating it as a united series. I think it works out well, but check it out for yourself.

Taking screenshots is not to difficult, but writing a good synopsis is difficult for me :-( .

yeah, but i'm a good editor :p so as long as you have the basic kind of structure i'm looking for (start with an introduction into the world/time the anime takes place in, introduce the characters/explain the situation, end with something catchy), i can edit it to sound awesome. ^_^ your english doesn't have to be amazing for you to be able to submit a good synopsis :)

i think im just goign to start pasting this for every request i get - guys, you should really help add these! i dont have time to watch every series out there.

Most of the transformers series -aren't- anime, and thus will probably never be added even if people make synopsis & screenshots for them.
RiD/CR is anime
Amrada/Energon/Cybertron(Galaxy Force) are debatable, because they were made for both US and Japan more or less simultaneously.
BW II & BW Neo are anime (but original BW and BM are not)
Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, and Zone are anime
G1/G2 (which was just slightly edited G1 eps), BW, BM, Animated(2008) are american cartoons & -not- anime. (Many people think Animated is anime, but it's merely done in a pseudo-"cheap anime" style.)

RiD/CR is the one I am talking about. I just figured out how to do a screenshot, so hopeful I can submit an entry soon.

By the way, do I put the synopsis in the email itself or in an attached word document?

You could do it either way.
I make a text file containing the synopsis & any notes about the screenshots, then zip it up along with the pics & attach them to the email.

There were additional episodes of Kino's Journey and Diary of Tortov Roddle (1 for each show) that were included on the official DVD release and I see those are not in our db.
