[BUG] Profile fails to load properly
 

When I try to view my own profile I get the following error:



Only my bio and time stats bar loads, anything beyond friend feed does not.

My profile: JAhU | Anime-Planet (not sure if the bug will be visible for people who are not logged as me though)

Profiles of other users load properly. It's possible that other users are experiencing the same bug when they try to view their own profiles.

Edit: It started working properly again.

I've been having issues with this as well recently.



Is the Feed section on profiles the caquse for the slow load? If so, can you add a way to disable it?

It has happened to me as well, although not for a while.
Profile does load slowly though.

Looks like timeout has been upped since I originally reported it a while back http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/fe...iend-feed.html but yea i've had it for ages just not as frequently as it has been lately.

Would assume it's probably related to NoSQL again, which cost sothis a fair bit to get support on last time. http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/si...-can-help.html

This has been happening to me all day today. This happened before, however it would fix itself after I refreshed. But this time, no matter how many times I try it, my profile will not load and I will get the same thing as OP's image.

Unfortunately I'm still having this issue. I'd noticed the slow-down on the loading of profile pages for a few months now but figured it was related to the July issues or my own configuration.

Today I got the mongo error for the first time and don't know what really caused it to stop (whether it was my constant refreshing or the site simply sorting itself out).

One interesting bit I did notice is that when my profile finally loaded properly it showed a few pages of people getting their newbie and yearly badges on my friend feed. Presumably as it happened.

Anyway, I've also noticed a few members casually mentioning the profile loading times but not posting in the bug section, so this is a minor bump as well.

Yeah I've been having these issues too - profile takes ages to load and may or may not show the error jahu described.

I had that message once or twice last night but it has since fixed itself and I have not seen it since, Also yes profile pages take a bit to load lately. It's understandable, Sothis doesn't have all the help she needs to maintain the site at an optimal pace. She does her best though and I thank her for that.

Yeah, same problem. It's been that way for... I think around two months now, and it's always the friend feed. Making it a bit of a chore to keep the list updated. ...The weirdest thing? My profile gets stuck but wifey's, whom I share my internet with, works just fine for her.

That makes a good testbed then. Compare your friend feeds, see if yours is significantly longer than hers, or if yours tends to bork every time a specific user appears in it or whatever.
