[REQUESTS] Avg. rating in AniRec DB and custom default number of anime/page.

Yep, so I've got two requests/suggestions.

First off, being able to see an average of user ratings when browsing Anirec would've been a nifty feature. Something in the lines of the rating stars next to each anime's name or similar.

Also, regarding those stars. I don't think they blend very well with the rest of the site. In addition, it's often hard to see if a star is half or empty, and using halves doesn't look too good either. What I think would've been best, is to use a different symbol, and use ten of them. That way it'll look better and be easier to read. (As it says what rating you're about to chose when hovering over it, that's not an issue.)

Sorry, I forgot one of the things I'd like to see. Here goes:
Being able to chose a default (meaning 25/50/100/All) when browsing your own/others anime lists. Having to poke All on the dropdown every single gets quite frustrating, so a feature that either makes the site remember what you chose last time or a setting for it on Edit Profile had been awesome.

Average rating will not be implemented. It has been explicitly decided against.


Symbol change, possibly. Although I find stars more convenient. More than 6-7 is overflow, remember it.

Stars discussion has been had before - apparently yellow is the only color that works with all of the various colors that appear in the bar for each category (watched, dropped, etc). I don't find it that difficult to read, now - but that could be simply because it used to be a much brighter yellow, so this seems better by comparison.

And yes, we do not do averaged ratings on this site, both because of popularity skew and the fact that people would try to use them in place of the generally more helpful anirec.

Default settings for the anime list would be nice, but it also works to bookmark the page at whatever settings you want. Thus it's probably not a huge priority.
