[REQUEST] Website notification when you get a new comment/friend request

I think a good idea would be to add a small notification box on the site - a little bit like Facebook and it can notify you when you get a new comment - I know the site emails you, but I rarely check my email haha, I just think an on-website notification would be better, and it would keep me from checking my comment box unnecessarily.

Also, it could notify you when someone adds you as a friend - I feel that the friend system is a little odd, that you can add people without their approval. I think some sort of friend request system would be good, so you can make sure no-one you don't want to add you adds you. (again a little like Facebook).

Anyways, these are just ideas. Feel free to contribute and give your opinions.

Why did you post 2 threads, and why did you want the other one deleted as opposed to this one? Was it merely to add the "[request]" in the title? If so, then next time just leave it be. When I, or another mod, comes by, I'll add the "[request]" (even if you don't specifically ask for it to be added).

Yeah, that was it. I'm sorry, I'll keep that in mind for the future.
