[request] Couple Sig Feature Requests
 

#1: I think what would be useful if the total amount of episodes you've watched could be displayed in your sig when you choose the Currently Watching option. For example let's say on my anime list I have D.Gray-man as 60 episodes watched. Now there is a total of 103 episodes in the entire series, so in my sig it would look like this:

Currently Watching

D.Gray-man 60/103


Now seeing as how we can choose how many episodes we've watched I would think something like this wouldn't be too hard to set up. I've seen it on another anime site similar to this and it works out good.


#2: Since we have the option to choose which sig we want displayed (Anime List Stats, Currently Watching) I think it would be great if we had the choice to have both, so with one sig we could display our anime stats and with the second sig we could display the anime we're watching.

re #2: As you describe it, that would mean that each person would have 2 or more sig pics at the same time, right? The major problem there is the ammount of complexity that would be required in order to maintain 2 seperate sigs for each & every user.
Displaying both in the same sig would be more viable, although it would cover up almost the entire background pic (especially when "currently watching" is included, it's nearly twice as wide as the stats box).
People have requested to have both anime & manga stats in the same sig (like with my customized sig) before. If the sigs were revamped to have a left & a right box, and to let the user choose what (if anything) to display in each box, that could address both requests.
The real issue though always comes down to complexity (and consequently, cost).

I know that there are some updates to the sig system in the works already, but I have no idea what they are, nor when they'll be rolled out. It's possible that something along these lines is already planned.
