I've been a member of the website for a little while now and just started working graveyard shifts. As a result I've got a lot of time to spare, and I was interested in becoming a member of the staff that writes official reviews for anime. I haven't registered with the forums until now as I'm terribly inefficient at keeping up with forums posts and etc. I'm really more interested in participating in the main website.
That being said, I'm not interested on stepping on anybody's toes, or having any administrative function. I've got an English degree in process and I'm itching to use it :). |

An English degree... DON'T LET HIM ESCAPE!
:) I know you can write user reviews, have you tried that? I think at least... I'm here for the anime and the people :) |

Submit User reviews. There's a thread around here somewhere explaining how to become an official reviewer if they are accepting more (which they are the process might be on hold for a little). But you are usually evaluated based on user reviews, and sometimes you might have to right a couple more for applying to be an official mod. The other ones that you have on the site might be glanced at though also.

We always welcome applications. As a note, write your user reviews in site format i.e. with headings Story, Animation, Sound etc. Drop a note to ThePatches to say you wish to apply and we'll evaluate your writing from there.

There used to be a thread somewhere (in the FAQ forum, I believe) about how to become a site reviewer. The most important thing would be to show what you can do by posting a bunch of user reviews.

Great, sounds like a plan. I was checked around where I could to find an FAQ concerning my issue, but hadn't found anything. I will post the couple of reviews I've been working on and send in my application. Thanks for responding!
