hey if anyone could help me out, that'd be pretty sweet.
i got a problem getting active mode working, iono if im doing anything wrong or not... i opened some ports using http://192.168.1.1 and for some reason, i still cant connect to people. anyone have some suggestions? |

First off are you sure your using the right ip adress for yourself?
open Start -> run -> command.com -> ipconfig /all. note the ip adress. it will be like 192.168.1.X in your case. The X is the number you need. go back into http://192.168.1.1 and open up the ports forwarding page. Make sure you are forwarding the ports to X which denotes YOUR machine on the network. also by when you say active mode are you using DC? port 1412 i believe. |

You have to forward ports, set your software to use those ports, and manually enter your external IP into the software. You can find your external IP from www.whatismyip.com or www.speedguide.net.
