I just know that they're called c4d renders.. If you google for them you'll find a lot of them, I don't actually make them myself, wouldn't even know how

Love your tutorials, Hevn! The top few, minus the hair one, seem to be too small or something, though. Can't seem to use them any more. I really wanted to try that music one!
Anyways, I just got Photoshop today, so I decided to try one of your tutorials as my first job! It's not a sig, it's for my Facebook banner, but please tell me what you think!

Im so glad that my tuts are of some use!! ^^
And thanks for telling me that some of them didn't work (they're all working now again I think) Like your version of the music sig very much!. Also nice use of colours, those greenish blue and yellow go really good togheter. Don't know if you used a c4d render on the background or that you used your original render. But there are some dark lines in it. Personaly I would blur them away. Nevertheless! Nice work

Hey I just stumbled on your tutorials because I wanted to make a nice new sig for myself ... and it's been a few years since I've used Photoshop :P
So I decided to try out the smudge tutorial .. but I seem to be having an issue here. I have my render, and a background layer (which is smudged). Now the tutorial says to duplicate the background layer, and then set the blending mode to "color dodge". Thing is ... this option seems to be grayed out no matter what I do (along with a few others). I've tried google to see if I could find what I was doing wrong there .. but no such luck so do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong? :( EDIT: NVM! I've figured out what the problem was. Apparently you can't use a bunch of blending modes in a 32bit image, so I had to change that. Last edited by Psoewish; 07-20-2012 at 12:40 PM. Reason: Found my own solution |
