weres my avitar? help!?

i uploaded an avitar and it shows up when i go to my profile but not when i post.
also i try to post the same pixs on my a-p profile and it wont take it "larger then 30k" 30k must be small as hell cuz every other site in the net will take my pics. i went to photobucket to smallatize it and it wont show up on my computer when i save it lol.

if u know how to get my pics working let me know plz

oh yeah under my name it sais narumon z wtf is that? how do i get it to say otaku or somthing?

As for why your avatar doesn't show up when you post is because the forum profile picture is a separate image from your actual forum avatar. Go to your CP and choose "Edit Avatar".

As for your A-P profile image, yes the limit is 30k if you believe what it says under the upload interface.

And lastly he "Narumon Z", I also wondered over that when I was new. It is Naruto, Pokémon and Dragonball Z put together. A way of saying that "This person is new, he's probably only seen mainstream anime", kind of. And the User title is connected to your number of posts, the Narumon Z goes away at 100 posts I believe. At 3000 you have reached the "Best" user title.

what do u mean believe it? iv tryed uploading my pics a 371248972389 times and the smalest i can get it is 53k should i try that? i need my pics g.. how do i get them on this peice?

and thats super gay about the main stream anime. i dislike most main stream anime, bleach is way 2 long any anime that has over 100eps is a wast of time 2 me and most likely they dont have any story line(just a bunch of fillers).I dont consider narutard an anime, its i childrens CARTOON. same goes for pokeymon, and i would say that for dragen ball but i dont want to get shot.Alos the only animes i have watched in english are cowboybebop,trigun,wolfs rain,Eureka7,FMA..and well most the anime on [AS] and i have watched all of them in japanese also i dont watch tv anymore. it should go based off of your watched list on ur AP. profile.

Well I wouldn't take the titles around here too seriously man. It's just about how much you post on the site.

And for your profile you gotta get the pic under 30kb for the main, and for the forum you gotta get the pic under 11 kb. Which takes a bunch of editing and messing around with the pics. If the smallest you could get that pic was 53kb, chances are you're probably not going to be able to use if for your avvi.

i enjoy that u like that charicter(on ur avi/sig) i thought he was helarious"almost, almost there"lol.

cool show with the potential romance but im about 2 drop it cuz the whole battling thing is a lil gay. if it were on a computer or somthing it be cool. it also takes 2 much space in the story so far, i like animes with ecchi and comady on the outside but some good drama or storyline. its still 2 early 2 tell though ill give it some more time.

Are you trying to make the image smaller by uploading it? I don't get it. Use a photo editing program to make the file itself smaller. If you upload a big file it won't be as compressed as you want it to be, and the quality would suck.

PM me with the images you want to use (Full size), and I'll make them into usable ones and PM back to you.

EDIT: Seems like you got the Avatar to show now at least. Still having trouble with the Profile one?

As Godfather said, don't take it so seriously. It's more of an indication how active of a forum member you are than anything else. Everybody here have been a "Narumon Z" when we first registered, no one will disregard your opinions just because you haven't posted five million times.

Unless the pic you're trying to upload is either a massive animated gif (or apng), or a bmp (a format which should never EVER be used on the web), 30k is more than large enough for a 176x176 image. (...and if it is an animated avatar, you might be wasting your time. I'm not sure if the site allows animated ones or not.)

I see that your profile avatar is a gif, given that combined with your size problems, I'm reasonably certain that you were trying to use an animated gif. That is the source of your problem on two levels;
1) Animated gifs tends to have large filesizes, much more than the 30k allowed.
2) While the site will allow you to upload animated gif or png files, it de-animates them after uploading. All that will be displayed is the first frame of the animation, everything else is thrown away.
It appears that the first frame of your animated gif is either blank or solid white, thus it looks as though you don't have an avatar.

Your solution is pretty simple: Find a non-animated pic that you like & use that instead.
