Well my problem is I have an internal mic in my laptop and I can't seem to turn it off, also is there away to make audacity record what is coming out of the speakers rather than what the mic is picking up

Go to Settings --> Voice --> Recording --> Microphone settings --> Level --> Reduce / turn off (Vista) or right click the speaker icon in passive icons bar and select recording devices and go to microphone settings and reduce level or turn off.
XP should be pretty same but all bars are located in same place (Voice out, Voice In, MIC, CD-audio etc) There are programs to record any program that is being used or master volume (software recording) SoundCapture should be a simple eventough it doesn't have that many features. |
