Oh my God, it worked. What i did was convert a file using Any video converter, then i did as you said, changed the extension to .srt and then using YAMB and it worked. I'm gonna try some other files now. Thank you for everything :)

I don't know if you still check this anymore but apparently mine isn't working ... I originally used AVI files instead of MKV but I converted the files to MP4 so I don't think there is a difference ... and I had srt softsubs but when I put them in Yamb when I watch the video the subs don't come up . Help would be much appreciated . Thank you :]
---- EDIT: Ahhh never mind . Videora iPod Converter actually does the converting and the muxing for you . Much easier ^^ . Just a suggestion for Windows users. There is no complicated stuff it's just one program where you select the file and then if the SRT is in the same folder and under the same name as the video, then the subs will be put together with the video file to create an MP4 .
