Attaching a file to post

I'm trying to add an image to a post from my computer and I can't find the "manage attachments" button.

I got this from the FAQ here:

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.

On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled
'Manage Attachments'. <- this one .....

so yeah, if someone could give me some kind of description of where it is, that'd be great :)

attachments aren't enabled on this forum except for certain automated cases (and maybe admin level access, I can't confirm/deny that :D). you can confirm this by scrolling down to the 'permissions' section when making a new post, and checking whether you may or may not post attachments.

if you're looking to share an image I suggest uploading it to an appropriate service and using image tags ({img}www.where-ever-your-image-is-stored.com/your-image.jpg{/img}) to put it into your post.

I don't know what you're trying to do but it's not what I suggested. for some reason you have a bunch of html in your php. that's not how it works. this is a php forum, and html is not enabled.

{img} and {/img} replace everything except the actual url of the image. you don't have the same fine level of control over what you're displaying as you do with html, so you have to make sure that you edit the image to be the dimensions you want it to be before linking.

aside from that the link to your image appears to be broken as well. I recommend uploading it to somewhere other than flickr. I use http://imgur.com/ myself.
