Ok Im newbie and I want to know how to use BT..

There exist several Programms, you can use.
The choice is by you whether to use the original BitTorrent from http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/FAQ.html

or BT++ from http://btplusplus.sourceforge.net/ for example.

Is BT worth getting for someone who just casually downloads entire anime series, movies?

I get all my stuff from various DC hubs in the first place.

it's basically a browser plug-in. you find sites with .torrent files on them, click and it downloads. some sites host entire series at once, others host large batches of episodes, and others only have individual episodes. it's just another means to downlaod something, it isnt like it requires any effort on your part if you only download anime casually(im guessing that means not on a regular basis), and since theres no spyware nor is it even running automatically when you turn your computer on, it doesnt really matter

Its almost as if you were to right click a file, Save as, tell it where to go, and wait for it to download. The only difference is that youre getting it from other people, and theyre getting it from you.

I'm kind of in your position (except maybe for the casual part :) ) and I didn't try BT at first, but grabbed a copy just because everyone seemed to be using it and it really is great. I find it a little harder to find torrents of older series and licensed stuff, but when you do find a torrent it's much easier to DL the whole thing than to deal with ques in DC. I use BT to suppliment DC, I still rely on it to do the bulk of the downloading, but torrents are just bleedingly fast for the most part, it's too good to pass up :-D

Im using linksys router BEFSR41 and BitTorrent at same time.
I get really low download speed. Like 3~4kb.... I have DSL.
How can I fix this?

i have same problem ! ( more like 5-10 ko/s)
( just a question where are the window of download task on window XP? i'm block whith a limit of 3 dll at the same time and i want change it... but i don't find it !!! )
