I was just wondering given I've tend to receive comments (I won't say what kind) about the pics I tend to put up. As some of you know, I tend to put up pictures as a welcome or to shortcut a way of expressing my feelings about a post or comment. Or when I'm poking someone . . . Anyway, given I've received more comments about my pictures than I am used to lately, I was just wondering what the thought was about all the pictures I put up.

My name is Andrew, i've recently gotten interested in anime after a while (i initially became interested in it when my brother brought back naruto from japan ^^)
i don't really have a preference for anime/anime genre's, i like pretty much everything i've watched so far...
which you can see at sakurafice's Anime List - MyAnimeList.net ( i haven't figured how to make a list on here yet ^_^;)

other than that, my hobbies are football/soccer, classical guitar, and am contemplating parkour/breakdancing...

So, back in September I started an online journal. Mostly out of boredom, but it's still going. Granted it's been more about comics than I had planned but the comics make for a solid constant. As I sit here and think about it I guess I could start tossing up posts that would have been the column for A-P on older anime (just posted one while I was at it).

Anyways, if you have a few minutes to spare, take a look at The Journal of a Geeky Car Guy.

Feel free to comment, good or bad, either way maybe you can get some entertainment out of it.

Ok so I bought this gk 2 years ago and well.... that was the last time I was doing something with my hobby, I had a lot pof personal things to attend to and after 2 years I come back to see if I still remember how to do it.. so here's my comeback :@_@:

I kinda lost her left hand.. and since I did not have any putty to mold it i just left it as a pending thing on her.

Her hair.... AUUGHHHHHHHH it was a nightmare!!! I never thought her hair strands were going to be so difficult!!! >.< I ended up pitting them together in a way that it will look like hair but it was the best way I could figure out to piece together... so yeah.. i'm not very happy with the end result :(

and yeah... that's it... pics don't resemble good light but at least I tried :crying:

I decided to futz around with GIMP for the first time... I really didn't do much but w/e xD I did these really in mind of the sites I go on that are really either owned by my cousin's best friend (God Wars site) and mine (VSD)

[REQUEST] archive of friend's anime/manga update

Since we're only able to see 10 updates of watched/watching/read/reading/rated anime/manga of our friends why not add more? up to 5-10 pages and the old information will be deleted.

Can you also add filter? Where we can only see a particular friend's update?

Thanksgiving specials?

Can anyone think of a list of thanksgiving related tv specials? I'm primarily thinking about american tv specials, but anime ones would be ok too.

The ones i can think of:
garfield thanksgiving
snoopy thanksgiving
peanuts historical thing, thanksgiving episode
an old bugs bunny special
"the first thnksgiving" or "the thanksgiving that almost wasn't" (not sure the exact title, a special about a squirrel & some kids during the first thanksgiving & how it almost didn't happen)

That's it. Pretty paltry compared to the assload of xmas & halloween specials.
