Should the zombie apocolypse come, I would probably go more for an F-250 preferably late 80's/early 90's or an older circa 50's and 60's truck. Those aluminum quarter panels on later model vehicles would just create a rolling death trap. The older steel equals durabilty and weight. And before anyone throws it out there: A Humvee would be the absolute worst as it would be impractical to find an appropriate model.
Oh yes, I have put much thought into it. I plan on surviving. |

What modern, readily available vehicle has aluminum quarter panels? Cutting out anything exotic? Maybe FRP or fiberglass, but aluminum?
Anything too old becomes dangerous from an accident standpoint. While the sheet metal may be thicker, there is not crumple zones built in. I rather have the vehicle absorb all that energy rather than it be transmitted to me. Never mind you're going to want something that has disc brakes up front. My personal choice would be the GMT400 '88-'98 GM truck (Chevy or GMC doesn't matter, same thing really). Drivetrain parts will be very easy to repair or replace considering the engines and transmissions were used in many different vehicles besides the trucks. And there were millions of them produced. They are one of the most reliable generations of trucks ever made by any manufacturer. If anything, I will easily be set on spare wheels and tires. Because I am not going to fuck around with a tire changer and balancer in the post zombie apocalypse world. |

^ No tire changing for this guy =D
For me the ultimate would be a Wrangler/Toyota Cj (one of the older ones with Jerry cans on it) and then drive up the steepest/rockiest/ nastiest trail... Live in remote rocky terrain where Zombies (or actual humans that Pirate) won't go. Rubicon trail anyone? fun article; Five Best Cars for Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse - U.S. News Rankings and Reviews lol Well i do like the Cherokee. maybe a Subaru Outback. Sure as shit would not go 911. |

Well, her name is Michonne, and being that she's the only character to walk around with such a weapon, you could have left the black part of the description out. Just saying, it looks bad on your part with your name.
But yes, this newest episode was badass. |

Nah, calling her N****r Samurai Girl would have made me look bad. I just identified the first three things I noticed about her: Girl, black, samurai sword. Just like how I called Glenn "Little Asian Guy" before I got his name down.

Seems the show is doing a good job of taking Rick down his journey of losing his fucking mind.
I expect next week's show to have a lot of Michonne to make up for not using her this episode. And it looks like they'll go ahead and bring our favorite crazed, racist, STD laden redneck back at some point during next week's episode. Also looking forward to see if they make good use of the left over inhabitants of the current location. |
